Six Whole Years!!! 📺

Sup gamers!

It’s yah girl Yukon, back at it again to celebrate Snoozy Kazoo turning SIX years old today! That’s a lot of years for an indie studio, and honestly WAY MORE than I thought this thing was gonna last. I can still remember the days I was debating quitting after Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, and holy crap am I glad I didn’t! I cherish every day that I get to spend interacting with y’all, reading all your comments and messages, and making silly games of course!

This year was a wild one for us. We announced our new game; Rizz Dungeon: Skeleton Key to My Heart (Consider Wishlisting if you haven’t already!) which has been amazing seeing everyone’s reactions to! What started as a side project between Pearl and I turned into a full-fledged project with the whole team onboard. Here’s Taffy’s original concept art to celebrate!

Internally Snoozy has had a ton of restructuring within the past year. We heavily reduced the amount of documentation, task management, and overhead in-general so we can focus on actually making what matters, the games themselves! What’s important, and I think I can speak for the team on this, the vibe at the company has skyrocketed! We also partnered up with popagenda, who’s doing all the PR for Rizz Dungeon and hopefully our future games. 🙏 It’s been awesome working with them on all the cool opportunities they found for us to get Rizz Dungeon out there!

Last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, we decided that after 6 years of serving us well, we would put the old kazoo logo to a well deserved rest, and Pearl made a new one!

Say hello to Kazoo Bot, our new logo and mascot! Our team is full of dweebs and dorks, a lot of which LOVE retro tech. I myself have an original, working, Apple IIe that I’ve been restoring.

Pearl brainstormed this new design and mascot based on that as I won’t shut up about it. I personally love it, and I hope y’all do too!

Seriously though, I can’t thank every single one of you enough for the amount of love and support y’all beam into our brains on the daily! I hope our gay little game studio brings you joy in these trying times, and I’ll catch you next time! 💚
